切ない - Clumsily translated, means "bittersweet," "wistful," or "the pain of things." It's a subtle emotion that can't quite be captured in words, but is often tied to nostalgia, longing and regret, and heartache within happiness.
Setsunai (切ない) is an FNF Post-Corruption Mod AU I've developed, complete with its own storyline which is currently in progress! It also involves a few of my own takes on some stuff in Corruption too...
aka this is the most canon-compliant AND canon-divergent extension AU you'll ever see :D
Admittedly it's mostly Boyfriend and Soul Boyfriend-centered since this duo has invaded my brain and is living rent free in it, buuuuut lots of other characters show up too!None of this is canon to Corruption also, as much as I try not to contradict it. it's just an idea I wanted to write about.
The characters of Friday Night Funkin belong to the FNF dev team (and guest/mod characters from their creators)

Summary
Shouto's therapist had encouraged Touya to take Shouto out to socialize with children his own age. Honestly the thought terrified Touya as he knows what little shits kids could be. But Shouto and Touya take the leap and attend a library story time for kids with special needs and meet new friends as well. Maybe the library wasn't as bad as Touya had thought.
This fic could stand alone, but for more context it may be best to read Fragments for the background information of how Shouto came into Touya's care and how he got his condition.

Summary
“I’m sorry for bringing this up, kid,” Aizawa says, “And I wish I didn’t have to, but the police would find an account of your captors helpful for taking the next steps.”
A part of Todoroki feels ashamed at the thought of bringing attention to what he had gone through in those days from hell, what those men had done to him.
But the larger part is tired. He’s tired of concealing his pain. He’s tired of hiding his father’s abuse, deflecting concern when teachers, classmates, even his siblings would question his bruises and cuts when he was just a kid.
He’s suffered through too much. Why should he try to protect other people from hearing the gritty details of the hell he’s been living?
So he sits there in his bed, covered in bandages and sore in places he never knew he could be sore in and tells Aizawa everything.
Day after day, Todoroki goes to sleep and wakes up but no matter how much time passes, he never manages to forget.
