Summary
On a search for the truth of her sister's disappearance, Jay makes a wish.
As of yesterday, she is a magical girl. (Which is, apparently, more complicated than she thought it would be.)
While she tries to learn the ropes of this entirely new world she's found herself in, she isn't sure the company she keeps is the best point of reference. She's never seem Gillion outside of his magical form (and isn't entirely sure he has a life outside of it), and Chip seems on a one-way road to accidentally dying himself. Don't get her wrong, she isn't really free of any quirks either; at the very least, they're all she's got.
All she can do now is stay alive.

“Chip asked about the prophecy, and, well…” Gillion sucks in a breath between his teeth, exhaling slowly. “For all I’m supposed to know about it, I really don’t know much about… well. About the gods.”
“I can’t really give you an unbiased view of it all,” she sighs. “Growing up Navy… well. You can imagine with—” she gestures loosely at her eyes, one blue, the other the same golden-yellow as the sun “—all of this, I’ve grown up with some stories. But…”
She straightens her posture, twisting a ring on her finger. “I guess… I guess I grew up a Ferin.”

Summary
Captain Sparklez is one of the most well-renowned heroes ever to grace their city. Underscore and Cuptoast, two young villains, are widely regarded as his arch enemies, constantly trapped in a game of cat-and-mouse. What no one knows is that, behind the scenes, the three are a completely normal, loving family, and the two are, in fact, the Captain's kids. So why is it that he's always around whenever the two attack, if not to thwart them? He just wants to make sure his kids are playing safe, duh.
