    In which the Over the Garden Wall cast navigates a strange new place where cartoons no longer act on sets, where 'toon' is a pejorative slur while Animation has become the proper term, where cartoons are still snubbed for awards by terrible old men, where a cartoon is guaranteed their inalienable rights, and where relations between animations and humans have become better for everyone.

    This is my love letter to Geralt and Jaskier. It was inspired by The Rockrose and the Thistle, by The Amazing Devil. It begins after that day on the mountain. After about a month of abject misery, Geralt and Jaskier are reunited by the fates in Dol Blathanna.

    Geralt has been hired by the king to kill a bruxa. Jaskier (in the same city for a music festival) learns that the hunt is a ruse and Geralt is walking into an ambush. Jaskier must go to extremes to save the man he loves.

    And, after learning why the king wants Geralt dead, Geralt’s traumatic past comes back to haunt him. Saving Geralt’s life might be the easy part.

    Earns its explicit rating in the final chapter.

    There are original character POVs, so you see Geralt and Jaskier through a third person sometimes, which I enjoy.

    There are so many The Amazing Devil lyrics I've snuck in. Gotta catch em all.
