Summary
Shen Qingqiu, notorious black powder fan of Proud Immortal Demon Way, does, in fact, have interests outside of shitty webnovels, despite haters' claims to the contrary. For example: the classic American xuanhuan space opera Star Wars. So when he stumbles across a 15 million word Star Wars AU fanfic of his most beloathed stallion novel with a strangely familiar writing style, he can't help but binge the whole thing in a week.
After his unfortunate death mid-angry-rant at what is clearly one of Airplane Shooting Towards The Sky's sockpuppet accounts wasting time re-writing the same drivel instead of improving his original work, Shen Qingqiu wakes up in the fanfic that caused his rage-fueled demise.
And, well, what else is there to do, but hug the protagonist's thighs and explore the breadth of a galaxy far, far away.

Luo Binghe enjoys his new role as Shizun's damsel in distress, and finds this all terribly romantic. Shen Qingqiu will catch up... eventually.

It’s… strange to see the differences between the boy’s face and his own, almost as strange as seeing all the similarities.
It's like looking into a slightly distorted mirror. Where Shen Qingqiu is cold and thin-faced, the boy (sixteen, seventeen?) is an open book. His face is so expressive, his expressions so marked by microexpressions, idioms, gestures, and the enormous expressiveness of his intense eyes, that Shen Qingqiu is sure he must be an exceptional liar, using it all to his advantage.
It must be, being his son.... One day, one of many when Shen Qingqiu isn't mourning his little white lotus in the Endless Abyss, a teenager arrives at his door: he tells him he's his son (the one he will have in the future) and that he wants to change the most painful events in Shen Qingqiu's life. And Shen Qingqiu... well, he wants to believe in him, but why does this boy look so identical to himself, and so different at the same time? Why on earth does this son of his, so expressive and sweet, look like something that makes his heart ache?

He's found himself doing that a lot lately, now that he's out of seclusion and Binghe is in the bamboo house, squirreled away into the side room where the Head Disciple should be. Painting is, of course, a logical course of action for a peak lord to do! Especially one such as himself, the Peak Lord of Qing Jing, which was basically the peak of the creative arts.
But— well, he just wasn't expecting to find himself liking it so much. Or doing it so often.
