you know the deal, monsters have been on the surface for a few years. everything new and hectic, most humans don't trust them just yet. nothings fair and they're still finding out a way to fit into place. lots of conflict about constricted housing market and employment. also our main fem-lead is the proud owner of the local community grocery store and is seeking ways to bridge the gap between man and monster. A pillar of the community with a deep family history nestled in this little mountain town, she may prove to be more intriguing than expected.

No “irl” friends + shitty job = no parties, or hangouts, or long ass calls with friends that lasts hours at a time, day wasted spent laughing at absolutely nothing but everything at the same time. The fact you lived 20 minutes away from town didn’t help, either. Your humble little 2 story cottage home was isolated at the top of a steep hill, a ways from town and quarter a mile away from an abnormally large, probably haunted creepy wooden mansion. That’s probably why the house was so cheap, a cabin surrounded by forest next to a Halloween attraction would probably scare away any other normal person. Perfect for someone like you, fuckin’ weirdo.

Danny would like to say for the record that it was not his fault.
In fact, Danny would say that it was entirely Clockwork's fault. After all, he wouldn't even be in this situation if it wasn't for that cryptic time god.
But what was his fault was the fact that he kept helping.
He kept taking the cash from the assholes messing with the residents who lived in the area (and damn there were a lot of assholes near where he lived). He kept accepting their offers of food. So because of this new routine that kept him able to afford to rent out his shitty (and possibly illegal) apartment and the hunger pangs sufficiently satisfied, rumors grew.
tldr; after Clockwork dropped of Danny in Gotham he tries to make the best out of the situation which includes helping out some people. Except along the way that led to rumors that he was an up-and-coming crime boss. A rumor he was largely unaware of.

So the only sounds that fill the warehouses are the dull pangs of fists and blood splatters. Knuckles hitting flesh, and screams echoing off of stained walls.
One day, when the nights calm, Peter will be disgusted by the monster who stalked the streets, for once his knuckles red from another man’s ichor. Today, he feels righteous.

When Aunt May dies, it’s the final nail in the coffin of Peter’s decaying mental health. Then comes Deadpool, clothed in leather, smelling of gun smoke, and a voice like honey that whispers everything’s gonna be okay. Will Peter be able to resist the very man he’s supposed to hate?
