Unfortunately for Thorin, the aforementioned man doesn’t exist. Fortunately for Thorin, Balin has an idea. Enter Bilbo Baggins, illustrator, writer and occasional professional boyfriend. As the two men get to know each other and set up a ruse to save Thorin’s dignity, things get a little… complicated. As the past is drudged up, both Bilbo and Thorin reconsider their present and wonder about their future. A Christmas story about love, fear, family and coming to terms with the fact that sometimes it might just be worth it to give it another chance.

Fingers ran through his damp hair and Fili licked his lips when their eyes met. He looked like a debauched prince of his dreams, and Ori was only getting started. He leaned forward and nuzzled the inside of Fili's thigh, earning an impatient whine and tug to his hair. Ori clicked his tongue and dug his teeth into the meat of his leg, tantalizingly close to his dripping cunt. Fili threw his head back and sobbed. "O-Ori please!"
"Good boy." Ori purred and he blonde shuddered and keened so Ori made note to praise him again. He buried his nose into blonde curls and became acquainted with Fili's throbbing dick. Ori moaned as he pressed kisses along the length before ducking lower to lap up Fili's saccharine arousal. Ori never once looked away from Fili's face, enraptured by the bliss expressed with each gasp or furrowed brow. Soap and musk made Ori dizzy amongst the steam.

Summary
When Mahal himself offers to send Thorin back to the start of the quest to save the line of Durin, he is determined to make amends for all of the mistakes he made the first time around.
When Bilbo wakes up in Bag End eighty years in the past, all he knows is that he has somehow been given the chance to see his beloved dwarves again and he'll be damned if he doesn't take it.
Both dwarf and hobbit are desperate to prevent the quest from ending in tragedy, but neither will be able to do it on their own. They'll need to work together if they want to keep the entire Company alive and whole --but first they need to realize that they are not alone in their efforts, and they have to stop getting in each other's way at every turn they make.
Hopefully, they'll learn some things this time that they failed to learn before. And maybe, just maybe, they'll find their happy ending that both have been yearning for.
