Ah, there it is.
The blond man shakes his head in wonder, not as a no, just as a ‘wow’. The kid shifts in Bad’s arms and lets out a little mew. Phil involuntarily chirps. Everyone pauses, looking at the tiny kitten.
It’s clear he’s in need of help, but all of them have so much on their plate already, how would they ever be able to juggle villain life and raising a literal child?
Regardlessly, Phil’s birdbrain chants, 'flock, flock, flock, fledgling, baby, flock.'

Summary
Tommy’s jaw clenches uncomfortably. “Yes, sir. My deepest apologies for taking so long on the letter, it is only that the–”
To his immense surprise, Dream simply waves him off, plucking the letter from Tommy’s hand and tucking it away in one of his desk’s drawers.
“You’re forgiven,” Tommy’s shoulders deflate in relief. “I want to discuss something entirely different today.”
There is a long pause, the air hanging taut between the two, before Tommy takes the bait. “And what, sir, might that be?”

Summary
There is a man Wilbur has never seen before, backed up against a tree. Next to him on the ground lies a smashed porcelain mask, black lines that may have once formed a comprehensible shape decorate a few of the pieces. The man looks horrified, his green eyes wide in shock.
“Tech, Tech, let me go!” he screams, groaning in frustration and glaring absolute daggers at the green eyed man, who shrinks further in on himself.
“No, Theseus, no, what has gotten into you?” Techno scolds, trying to hold the kid back as he struggles further.
Apparently his efforts aren’t working well to calm the kid because he yells, “let me at him, let me fucking at him!”

Summary
Phil squints, looking out the window and trying to see who is knocking in the dark. Finally he makes out what appears to be the silhouette of two children. His eyes adjust quickly to the dark and as he can recognize more of their features, he comes to the conclusion that they look about eleven and fifteen, both rather tall for their ages.
He rolls down the window and flips the overhead light on to get a better look at them, although there are still some shadows cast over their faces.
“Hello, mister,” the older kid says, leaning in slightly, perhaps to look Phil over.
“Hi,” Phil says, smiling kindly, despite the aching feeling of dread that has settled in his gut. He brushes it off. “Can I help you two boys with something?”
The brunette smiles, but it seems more wicked than kind, as if he’s bearing his teeth at Phil.
“Yeah, actually,” he says, almost smirking, "I think you can."

Summary
“He’s sick,” Wilbur says, grinning wildly. Techno’s eyes widen and Tommy can see the exact moment his hybrid-brain kicks in.
He lets out a startled cry as the pink-haired man grabs him by the shoulders, shoves him inside, and grunts, “couch. Now.” Tommy obeys, walking over to the couch and plopping down on it, cross legged, but Techno furrows his brows and shakes his head. “No. You lay down.”
Tommy, slightly shaken, unfolds his legs and spreads them out, resting them on the far arm of the couch. He looks back to Technoblade for approval, and he nods his head curtly before going to find Phil.

Summary
Tommy wasn’t really the type to get caught up in drama at school. He flew under the radar for the most part, most people only knowing him as him as Wilbur and Techno’s golden haired, slightly annoying, but lovable, freshman brother. Wilbur being the leading man in their well loved theatre department, and Techno, co-captain of the football team, had given him a leg up when he had entered high school his freshman year.
But that was deteriorating quickly, as allegations spread quickly, and the blood drained from Tommy’s face as his older brother angrily confronted him about it.

Tommy's friends and brothers turn against him and start treating him like hes a bad person due to a misunderstanding, and he just feels so alone.

Summary
The instant the shopkeeper was out of sight, the kid's fingers were in the Nether wart basket, poking at the dry gnarls of fungus. Techno didn't miss the spite in the kid's eyes that said he was doing this precisely because he was told not to. He also didn't miss the way one of the grayish burgundy knobs disappeared under his palm.
There was a noise from under the counter, and the kid's hand flinched away. He flashed Techno a guilty grin, like he was just messing around and causing trouble for the fun of it. His hand slipped down towards his pocket.
Techno caught the kid's wrist before it could disappear inside.
Techno's just trying to sell his wares and move on from this town. Instead, he meets a scrappy kid who smells like death.

Summary
Tommy turned his head to the side and almost jumped out of his skin as he saw his piglin brother staring at him with his sharp white eyes.
He flinched back, a shout caught in his throat as he began coughing hard. Techno cursed and helped Tommy sit up, a warm hand steady on his back as he attempted to cough his lungs out. As he finished coughing, he looked over at his brother, eyes clearly filled with confusion but also guilt and fear, “Tech? Why am I here?”
Techno pursed his lips, “You were out in the snow, Tommy. I thought you were dead.”
He looked down, “Sorry.”

Summary
Tommy seems pale and drawn, like a person stepping up to the gallows, as he enters the booth to sing. His hands don’t shake, but it feels disingenuous of Wilbur to look at that as a ray of light in everything. The group of them watch from behind the one way glass as Tommy steps up to the microphone. His eyes fall closed and they don’t open back up.
When he sings, it’s such a wail of pain that Wilbur’s sure by the end that Tommy will drop to his knees and heave.
He doesn’t. Almost by miracle, Tommy’s standing when he's finished, and with a creased, ruined expression and a torn heart, he steps back from the mic and walks out like it was nothing.
There’s silence, then –
“Holy shit,” Schlatt says, and yeah. That just about sums it all up.
Or, Tommy is a young pop artist going on tour - he holds auditions for his touring band and ends up getting not just a band, but a family. It's just -- he doesn't seem to know that. (based around Olivia Rodrigo's album Sour)
