Summary
The Hermits' pasts before donning the title of "Hermit" vary greatly. Some don't remember, others do but just don't talk about it because why should they, and a few even tell grand tales of their previous explorations into the vast world of different servers.
One Hermit, however, can recall his past in immense detail and would really appreciate it if he could be one of the ones that forgets it at some point. Unfortunately, with the way life has kicked him down over and over again, it wasn't going to let him off that easily.
Eventually, he'll learn there's one key difference he has today compared to before: he's not alone.

Shadow Milk Cookie thought his week couldn’t get any worse. First he’s defeated by Pure Vanilla Cookie, forcing him into his weakest form, a plushie. Then, his minions leave him alone. And now he’s being kidnapped by the one who started it all!
OR: shadow milk cookie turns into a plush version of himself to conserve power when weakened, what if pure vanilla found him?

Summary
Pure Vanilla visits White Lily to talk about his growing feelings for Shadow Milk. She doesn't understand but if he was willing to stand up to all of them and give the Beast a chance to change then she supposes she has no other choice but to support him. Unfortunately for them, her faerie subjects get the wrong idea of why the two Ancients are meeting more frequently and decide to take matters into their own hands.
A potion to bring forth hidden affections given to the one cookie that has some form of love for every single person he's ever known means now White Lily has to try and keep an increasingly cuddly Pure Vanilla from embarrassing himself in front of everyone he crosses paths with. And when Shadow Milk shows up, she needs to keep him from making a mistake that may just drive the jester away for good.
Pure Vanilla is lucky she's always been good at figuring out spell craft... and with an extremely reluctant Shadow Milk's help, maybe they can break this lovestruck haze that her friend is trapped in.

I haven't listened to the magnus archives, so idk how this compares but this is REALLY GOOD as someone who has never read horror
And the characterization is absolutely perfect!!(Like I genuinely think this has the best characteritzation I've read in this fandom) -

Summary
There are no witnesses to the birth of gods. Only echoes.
And in Carcosa, echoes last far longer than memories.
Once a part of a greater whole, the Prince in Yellow separated by complete accident. The King is a shifting changing being, but this time a greater part ended up separating from the whole, becoming its own being. Dubbed Nyxophoros, or the Prince in Yellow, this new potential disaster chooses to live amongst humans to learn all she can and cause chaos in her own way.
Trying to juggle both the issues of being a brand new eldritch horror and a human, the Prince in Yellow has to find her own way, though she is never truly outside of the King's watch.
