"Oh, what a treat!" her voice lulls, "He's handsome for a stuffy accountant," the woman jokes, raking her eyes up and down Zuko's stiff stature, "Loosen up toots, you're stiff as a board," she says, taking pins out of her hair and setting them haphazardly on the vanity, "Any friend of Aang's is a friend of mine, he's practically family," her tone is warm, "Will be once he plucks up the courage and asks my sister out," the pair playfully rib each other, poking and prodding with clear affection in their posture. When the performer casually pulls what Zuko now realises is a wig off her head, he looks on in surprise, and when she wipes away the layers of makeup that were caked on, he looks on with intrigue. Everything starts to click in his head now, the deep voice and defined muscles, the way a strange man had been let in while undressing.
She, was in fact he.
"You're a man?" Zuko says before thinking, though thankfully instead of offence, the woman—man…Sokka finds humour.
"Am I? I hadn't ever noticed!"

"You wanna kiss me?" she asks, direct and teasing in her words, causing Zuko to shoot back, embarrassed and caught.
"No," he lies.
"Yes," she insists almost offended, leaning in closer with her eyes trained on Zuko, looking up through her long lashes with her mouth quirked to the side in a goofy expression, "I wanna kiss you."

Zuko matches with the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen on hinge and spends four consecutive days winning her over with his loser charm.

"Yes, please," Zuko's eyes are heavily lidded, and his tongue lolls out of his mouth slightly.
The beautiful sight has Sokka feeling a little mean, "Yes what?"
Zuko looks lost for a second before looking nervously and saying, "We didn't mention names like that."
Sokka hums in thought, pushing back a bit more, ready to let it slide if Zuko really doesn't want to use honorifics like that, "Humour me?" Zuko nods eagerly, so willing and ready to please, "What do you wanna call me tonight?" Eyes shining, Zuko perks up with his answer at the ready, but he gives up before he's able to spit it out, "Anything you want, I won't mind," he holds Zuko's chin in his hand, tilting his face to force eye contact, "You can do that, can't you?"
"Yes," Zuko shyly responds.
"Yes…?"
Closing his eyes to collect himself, Zuko looks up at Sokka with the most open, trusting expression, "Yes, mommy," Sokka is floored, as Zuko looks to him awaiting approval, all he can think about his how hard he's gonna ride him when this is all done.
OR
Zuko internalises all of his perversions until Sokka forces them out with a discussion of their lackluster sex lives.

Sokka and Katara are separated in a storm and wash up on separate beaches, Sokka on Kyoshi island, and Katara on fire nation shores. Sokka goes in disguise as a Kyoshi warrior to follow a lead on Katara’s whereabouts and along the way grows closer to the Firelord who’s promised to help “her” reunite with “her” sister.

Freezing cold fingers find their way under his shirt to flatten against his stomach, the muscle sinking away from the assault as he gasps at Sokka's wiggling, "Stop that!"
"Hmmmno."
After a bit of tussling, Zuko gives up, hiking his knees to his chest and letting Sokka warm himself against him, "Why're you like this?"
Sokka thinks for a moment, Zuko's sure that he's coming up with some joke but the answer he gets instead is surprisingly honest, vulnerable, even, "Because it's you," he buries his nose in Zuko's hair, inhaling deeply again and humming cheerily from behind, "Because it's us."
'So unfair.' the thought flashes by Zuko again, mind adamant to harp on and on about how cruelly casual Sokka's being with his affections right now.
OR:
Zuko tries to hide his feelings for Sokka, but it gets harder and harder as his best friend keeps coming over drunk.
