Idly fiddling with the hem of the shorter’s shirt before willing himself forwards and adjusting Grian to stand upright. His hand kept firmly on his shoulder, a silent order to stay. A moment passed. Continuously thinking. He appeared far away, he was far away, staring at his shoes, until his eyes lit up in recognition. He thought of his father’s dodgy memory. How often he would overindulge and black out, left with no recollection of the night prior. Those eyes peered upwards. Grian’s lips remained in his direct line of sight.
Without thinking twice, Sam pushed the bottle back into Grian’s grip, half holding it. It thumped and sloshed against the smaller’s chest. "You should drink more," His words simply slipping from his tongue, gesturing to the liquor with his eyes, his own lack of sobriety dawning on him. It should have deterred him, nudged him into second guessing himself, instead, it reassured Sam. It was an alibi, if only for himself.
OR: Grian overindulges at a party and Sam looks after him.
