There was no reason that Wise could point towards that would explain why he got so much relaxation and joy out of dressing in feminine clothing. It's just something he fell into, almost. All those little moments of passing through a store, attention caught on long soft skirts and lip gloss with a wistfulness that he could easily brush aside, of spotting a fashionista in the city and thinking to himself, I wonder what it's like to wear something like that — they all built up until one day he did wonder.
Not the vague idea of — What a pretty dress, I bet that feels nice to wear — but the concrete idea: What would Wise look like, if he wore something just like that?

“I’ve been wanting to ask you something for a while,” he said, his fingers twining around each other absently, picking at his cuticles.
“Okay,” Carlos said, turning to face Cecil more fully and smiling gently at him. “What is it?”
“Can I – can I wash your hair?”
Cecil adores Carlos' hair, and the prospect of washing it makes his mouth water. Basically, the fluffiest domestic nonsense there ever was, with just enough smut thrown in for seasoning.
