Zanka's got a new weapon to try out. A trap that binds enemies. He hadn't meant to get into a situation where he had to use it on a raider, but bad luck is bad luck. Might as well make the most of it.
Unfortunately, he got cut on the way down, leaving him paralysed and in pain. And what is there to do when you're both unable to move but talk? Maybe he'll even get some useful advice from it. The light breeze blew his long, green curls around, framing his face delightfully and, oh, right. Gillion. Chip groaned, thumping his forehead against the railing of the crow’s nest. It was a beautiful, sunny day with warm weather and fluffy white clouds, but Chip still felt nauseous. He recalled the memory– rather, the dream– from the night prior, turning it over in his head like a marble in his hand.
It had felt off-puttingly real, not unlike his nightmares from just a few months ago in the matter of its eerie authenticity, but it wasn’t exactly unpleasant. Surprising, sure, but not particularly unwelcome. And that was what Chip was struggling with.
