Entirely devoted to his work for the First Order, general Armitage Hux can no longer bear the presence of the Master of the Knights of Ren on his beloved Finalizer. To his mind, Kylo is only Snoke's submissive pet, immature weakling who does not control neither his actions nor emotions. The complete opposite of sensible and cold-blooded general.
But strict and seemingly indifferent Hux also struggles with himself. Each time he sees the human face beneath Ren's impersonal mask, an internal unease doesn't want to leave him alone. Inside him, there are born some feelings which cannot be navigated. Feelings, which he doesn't want to be aware of (or someone doesn't let him...)
Maybe Hux and Kylo have more in common than the general has always thought.
What if the past began to disturb Hux so much it affected his present?
What if some nosy admiral found out about a suspicious relationship growing between irresponsible child-commander and undeservedly high-ranked bastard general? Son of his tragically deceased, old friend - an insidious brat who has never been worthy to take name of great Brendol Hux?
