Summary
Crowley shifted the phone to his other ear. “Yeah. Yeah, that sounds great, angel. See you then.” Say it, say it, say it... “I love you.”
There was a pause, which Crowley’s heart decided to fill by slamming against the rest of his organs.
“Crowley,” Aziraphale gasped. “Did you just say...?”
(Crowley tells Aziraphale, over the phone, that he loves him. Then he panics and tries to claim that it was just force of habit from his saying it to his boyfriend. At which point he's stuck with a made-up boyfriend. Probably there's no way out of this predicament.)

Summary
It had been a long time since Crawly had run into an angel-- well, into any angel that wasn't Aziraphale. There weren't so many on Earth as there used to be, and they usually weren't too difficult to avoid. This one, though, had caught him by surprise.
(Crawly gets smited. Aziraphale lends a hand.)

Summary
On top of the wall is an angel.
With a flaming sword.
Ngk.
The smart, self-preserving thing to do would presumably be to turn and flee. Since Crawly is apparently neither smart nor self-preserving, he stays in place and stares at the wall, at the flaming sword, and most of all at the fluffy-haloed angel standing silhouetted against the full moon.(Fluff dialogue prompt fill #6.)

Thousands of years of conditioning don't just go away. But Aziraphale and Crowley have a chance now and won't give that up without a fight. Scenes from After that need to happen, and some fluffy feels about Love.
