While on patrol, Leon finds a woman in distress. She refuses to come to the castle with him, so he brings the necessities to her. He just wants her to be safe. But she’s keeping a secret that, when finally revealed, makes Leon reconsider his stance against magic.
Out hunting, Arthur comes across a strange sorceress who claims to have known his mother. Despite the obvious risks, he follows her deeper into the woods to learn more about his family. What he finds out is enough to make him reconsider his stance against magic.
Tormented by her dreams and apparent ability to set fires with nothing but her mind, Morgana turns to the druids for help. They teach her how to start controlling her burgeoning magic and prove to her that magic is not to be feared. Now it’s up to her to make the king reconsider his stance against magic.

Freya gets promoted to Soloist at the Avalon Ballet Company, and it’s everything she’s ever dreamed of.
The only problem is that Morgana, one of the company’s teachers, won’t stop watching Freya during class. Morgana is beautiful and all the attention makes Freya warm—too warm. Warm enough that her curse begins to activate, but she can’t have that happen, not at work and especially not in front of Morgana.
When Freya gets cast in a ballet that Morgana is staging, the watching and the warmth only get worse. How can she dance this part if she’s at risk of transforming right in front of everyone? Freya has always assumed the curse is permanent, but maybe there’s some way to undo it and save her career.

Arthur should’ve known not to trust an Orkney, not that he thought Gwaine’s cousin meant to die unexpectedly. And not that Gwaine’s cousin meant for his house — the place Arthur’s supposed to stay at — to burn down either. At least Merlin is there with him, along for the ride, every step of the way. Now if only it were just them two, and he didn’t have to deal with this brat, Mordred, who insists on running the Orkney ranch and roping Arthur into running it too.
