Well if there was ever any doubt the Witchfinder was a fraud, here it is. Why on earth would a sorcerer conjure toads out of his mouth? A goblin would just burn in fire and bodies in the water would make it undrinkable. On top of that, only three women saw it. While there are always plenty of people at the well or in the square. You would think these women had eaten bad mushrooms.

Summary
After the challenges at Ishmere, Gwen arranges a week of for the gang. Merlin is elated, until he learns a hunt is already planned. Before he can refuse, he learns that Mordred will join them. Arthur wishes to tank him and integrate him into the knights. The relaxing holiday quickly gets derailed as nothing goes as planned. Cultural and class differences, misunderstandings and revelations from multiple people threaten to break things beyond repair. Will the group make it back to Camelot as they left? Will Camelot remain the same?

Summary
According to canon, Merlin is basically a demigod who has access to his powers since birth. He's also smart, resourceful, brave and determined. His control over time and his telekinesis should also trivialize just about every threat possible. Yet for all that, he has zero development until he comes to Camelot desperate for whatever life would give him.
In this fic, all of that changes. Merlin fully embraced his power, which impacted both his life and his surroundings.
So when he comes to Camelot Merlin still needs to figure out himself and his purpose like in canon, but he is in a totally different place both magically and mentally. Will that change everything? Or nothing?
