So far, the group has managed to overcome life's various obstacles but are now tasked with facing reality and learning to understand the differences in each other, the trauma that follows them, and what it means to have a full wave of connection. Healing comes with costs and consequences.
From a vacation that brings out even the darkest of struggles to beach trips that highlight what it is that makes being in the group a beacon of light, Sunny and Co experience Senior Year like a storm.

Summary
After moving on from Mari's death, Sunny, Kel, Aubrey, Hero, and Basil attempt to find jobs that would suit their needs in life. However, neither of the teens could hope to find any jobs that would be sustainable financially in the long run. With very few options, the group coincidentally finds out about a once-successful entertainment center called FARAWAY Diner.
However, that very same diner happens to be cursed for reasons unknown, with one of the co-CEOs having perished from an assumed cardiac arrest and the other having vanished from the public eye to avoid murder allegations.
A theory behind this incident is that a ritual would grant a steady stream of income without the need to work throughout one's lifetime if performed correctly. However, as FARAWAY Diner became haunted, it's safe to assume that something went wrong, and the diner itself was forced to shut down.
Despite these dangers presenting themselves to the five teenagers, Sunny, Kel, Aubrey, Hero, and Basil decided to take the risk of working at FARAWAY Diner for seven nights, desiring nothing less than earning that steady stream of income for the rest of their days.

They now wander the streets of the City Sunny moved to after the ending of the game. The city used in Omori Reverie will be my inspiration for most of where this story takes place, but some things may be different or added for the sake of a more expansive story. This AU was inspired by a peice of artwork made by gwuen on YouTube, with their permission to use the concept and idea.

However, he now realizes that even though he's mostly healed and learned to live his life without so much grief, there are always harsh reminders of what happened with Mari and Basil, no matter if he's in the city or back in the very town where everything took place. He knows he'll have to understand more than the truth to fully be able to accept what happened.
