Two years ago, the Northern Water Tribe attacked. The Avatar had emerged from the snow and ice to bring balance to the world. Or at least, that's what he says he's been doing.
Now, the Southern Water Tribe just captured a mysterious pair of firebending siblings lurking outside their city. Their wild quest: to find a boy named Aang who disappeared a hundred years ago.
Sokka is beginning to suspect that someone is lying.

When visited by an ominous specter of death, during one of their lectures, Dr crane Grayham's fate is sealed. They die soon afterwards and despite the ominous warnings of the specter, make a deal with the god of death to put on a play telling the god's story in return for a chance to escape their fate of being forgotten and subsiding into a hollow caricature of themselves. Crane plans to betray the god of death and prove before the world, that gods have no true power, by publicly murdering the god during the play. Only for their very efforts to reinforce and strengthen the god of death and or them to fall prey to the deity's clutches leaving Crane a mere specter of death who must attempt to warn the deity's next victim.

Inevitably, some of these creations slip through the cracks of the tightly controlled environment of the Academies and fall into hands who twist them to suit their own benefit, no matter whose lives they have to ruin in the process.

Aideen Burns and her father, Wayne Burns, design a new type of technology; The Arcer Airrail Train. This train is supposed to help with the overcrowding of the roads, lessen the electricity used by reloading cars and prevent deaths because of traffic accidents. But most importantly, the train is supposed to be connected to the abandoned Acadia Amusement Park which the Burns want to reanimate.
Aideen presents the train at a conference where iferra Coldwell - niece of the famous architect Sir William Coldwell - gets interested in The Arcer.
The life work of Aideen and Wayne Burns allows the young Aideen and Iferra to go on an adventure together that will shape their beautiful cooperation.
In conclusion; this is a gay Atompunk story :)
