Summary
“He’s just-” Derek tries to reach for the proper words to fully encapsulate the horrors of Dex’s entire self, but he falls short. He always falls short when it comes to describing Dex (from his hair to his ears, his perpetual grumpiness to his know-it-all attitude, he’s just a lot) and it’s infuriating. Frustration leaking out of every cell, he falls back into Chowder’s pillows, arms flailing dramatically.
From where she’s sitting across the room, Derek can hear Farmer laughing, but he’s too caught up in the drama of it all to call her on it. She doesn’t have much room to talk after the time she literally kicked a hole in the wall in response to a teaser for Fifty Shades Freed.

This is it. This is senior year unfolding in front of him with every breath he takes and there's nothing he can do to slow it down, no matter how deep he digs his nails in.
In nine short months, Nursey is going to graduate and stumble into his post-college, adult life with a degree and no real plan of what’s next or where he’ll end up living. He knows his moms would love it if he moved back to the City, but he’s fallen in love with Boston to the point that the clear-cut definition of the City that he came here with has started to blur.
Maybe he'll never taste Dex's—or Bitty's, he supposes—baking again or wince at Chowder’s random, painful-looking splits or fine Farmer and him for some insanely saccharine PDA. For all he knows, come graduation, he'll lose sight of the rest of the Frogs and it'll be just him wherever the fuck he ends up.
The universe seems to hear him—the back door cracks open, through his thoughts that threaten to spiral again, and then it's Dex’s voice saying, "Hey, Nurse."
Or, the one in which Nursey fears the end of senior year before it's even begun and Dex knows just the way to make it better.

Erm, so, this fic is influenced by a lot of things:
1. Watching so many videos of Tyler Seguin fiddling with his damn facial hair, like seriously, he never stops touching it. He's constantly chewing on his own face, or scratching his own face.... like seriously, why doesn't he shave.
2. My husbands many excuses as to why he doesn't shave his damn face.
3. I really hate beards. That probably isn't clear for this fic. I would put up with beard burn from Segs though...
4. I'm avoiding writing my long stuff, and there's nothing like procrastinating writing by doing more writing
