Summary
Keyla Kogane would always have been indebted to Takashi Shirogane. The boy, without knowing it, had saved her from a life cursed by her powers, by her genes unknown also to her, and by all the abusive families that had welcomed her after her father's death.
One night, Keyla tells Shiro that she wants to spend a night with him before the launch. Shiro, initially struck by the girl's confession, accepts, given the mutual feelings.
The two have no idea what would have expected them after all this.

Keith had a set of truths. They were a list of three:
1.) The time somebody would remain gray before they
died was random; there was no set time period.
2.) There was no specific way somebody would die once they turned gray; there were infinite possibilities.
3.) As much as he may want to, or as much as he may try to intervene, once somebody turned gray, there was no way to change, or prevent that person's death; Keith was in no position to change fate.
Those were his truths, and he stuck by them.And then he met Lance.

Summary
Matt put down his phone and continued ranting, this time about just everything in general, and Shiro rolled his eyes and pulled a Pepsi out of his backpack. He'd need a lot of caffeine to listen to this. As he chugged it, he could see a head of silky black hair out of the corner of his eye, and Shiro promptly choked on his soda. Matt turned to stare at him, his amber eyes blinking rapidly. "Shiro? What the hell-?"
Then Matt saw Keith and snorted. "Oooh, gayness strikes again. Don't suffocate."
"Shut up," Shiro shot back between coughs.
Once Shiro could speak (he could still feel something lodged in his throat, but he could breathe) he looked up to see Matt barely suppressing laughter and a very concerned looking Keith staring at him.
Keith had his dark, silky hair pulled back into a higher ponytail than usual, and his bangs were just barely neat enough for Keith to see. His dusky eyes were wide with confusion, and his lean hands were shoved into his skinny jean pockets. Did Shiro say skinny jeans? He meant skin tight black jeans paired with ankle-high combat boots and a NASA tee shirt. It was so casual, but Keith rocked the look, and Shiro could feel his face burning.

“Is it any good?” Keith looked at the guy in front of him, his blue eyes questioning as he already reached forward to pick up the small sample cup with a chip already stick up out of the muted green guacamole.
“Uh?”
“The Guac?,” The guy gestured at him with the sample, “Is it good?”

Keith was just trying to make it through his last hour of work, being demoted to passing out the Guacamole samples at Rolo's Grocery. Lance was just a pleasant surprise.

It was dark, 4 am, and way colder than Keith ever wanted it to be on a, kinda, summer night. He sat casually on his phone looking through Instagram food videos when he heard the sound. He wasn’t fazed, it isn't new, the sharp bang of a gun and the slight reverb as the sound travels.
What did I expect, it's Aurora.
His small town just south of Denver isn't the worst, but it isn't the best thing either. He's lived here long enough to know that much.
