This is a rework of my prior series with the same title, putting into one story and making it a bit more cohesive and solid.
This is the tale of how a socially-awkward outcast with an in meets a freak. It's a story of finding yourself when the world seems to be tearing you to shreds at every turn. It's making your own family when your bloodline is nearly non-existent and trying to cope when the Upside Down tries to fuck with that. It's figuring out that it's okay to fall apart. Unfortunately, that may also mean that there's no being put back together.

My take on Stranger Things season 5.
The ships are the same as in the show (Sorry Byler fans but they will be minor)
This is mostly focused on Lucas because I want to give his character focus since he's one of my favourites ever since the beginning of the show. I'm just hopping the Duffers will give him central focus like they did with Max Caleb Mclaughlin is seriously underatted.

Opening the sealed door with the code, the reinforced steel door swung open. I glanced to the room beside us, the man inside nodding towards me, and I let out a breath I hadn't realized I was holding. I ran inside the room, slamming the door in the faces of the others before picking up a chair and blocking the doors, frantic yelling on the other side.
