This story was originally supposed to be a oneshot called "Warmth Within a Cold Home;" however, the more I started thinking about the characters, I figured I want to turn this into an actual series. It will be a slice of life, harem, romance in a high fantasy setting with occasional moments of action and a high emphasis on worldbuilding.
Just like the oneshot, it will be quite sexually explicit, but an additional focus on the day-to-day lives of the characters means the build-up between each sex scene will be longer. In turn, this can make said scenes lengthier as well.
Disclaimer: No beta. We die like men.
I heavily encourage readers to leave comments to help me write this story. Both negative and positive feedback are appreciated, especially in terms of inconsistencies and plotholes, as it will help me revise this book into finality. I will, however, not accept criticism rooted in the desire for morally pure fiction. I will not remove taboo themes purely because it makes the reader uncomfortable, especially because I have a target audience in mind for everything I write. This alone makes me very selective regarding whose suggestions I take into consideration.

She thought being kidnapped as a teenager had been the worst thing in her life, it still was, but this was a close second. After she picks up a sword to defend herself from a demon, she goes on a journey to find a way back to her desk and flat, needing to solve the crime she had been working on before she ended up in Japan. The only issue, the people there are trying to thaw her heart, even as she tries to keep it frozen.

This is a collection of writing prompts I found or thought of, and wanted to write them for my Demon Slayer ocs and the characters. I'm going to make another work for my oc lore and an actual story I have planned out, but I don't have anything finished as of yet. I'll make an author's note on this when I do.
I seriously don't know what to tag in this, so if you have recommendations, please let me know. Or if you just have recommendations for prompts as well. I try to give credit to everyone I write from, but most I found on Pinterest or TikTok. I'll keep updating the tags as well with each chapter I post.
Before reading these, please note that there will be very heavy topics in here. It's Demon Slayer, it's kind of a given, but I mean, like specific traumas, thoughts of self-harm, or suicidal ideation. I will put a trigger warning for those topics in the notes for those chapters, but I just wanted to warn here as well. I'll be very specific on what is discussed in the chapters as well, because I find it stupid when someone thinks warning your readers is just spoiling the story. It's not. Grow up and warn people about possibly harmful content.

Jay faces some internal conflict about Mikayla's external conflict. They clash and find each other consoling each other and then having a regular conversation about regular people.
I really just wanted to write more deeply about the effects of living in the middle of a war, let alone leading the rebellion to a war. I wanted my characters to really show those external and internal signs of PTSD and anxieties and general inflictions you get when you live during such a complicated period. and these two we're just perfect to write about.
