Summary
(I only put this in two fandoms because of Val Kilmer. This movie has also taken possession of me, apparently, though not nearly to the degree which 'Top Gun: Maverick' has. I hope that y'all enjoy the ride!)
Handing off the reins to McMaster’s, Doc throws his leg over the saddle so he’s facing Wyatt, holding his arm in a death grip. “Down you go,” Wyatt encourages him and Doc slides from the saddle, free hand still clutching Wyatt’s coat to him like it could shield him from the world. And from the stares of Hooker and his men, whom they both know are watching the small drama playing out before them.
It goes from bad to worse when Doc’s knees collapse, forcing Wyatt to take his full (though worryingly light) weight.
“Don’t you dare.” Doc’s irascible protest stops Wyatt when he goes to hook an arm under his friends knees. “Or I swear I shall come back and haunt you.”
(Am I the only one who thinks it's kinda strange that both of Val Kilmer's characters in these movies die of something that makes them cough up blood?)
