    Summary

Calamity Ganon has been defeated, at long last. Perhaps it is a miracle of Hylia's making, or perhaps it is merely a pleasant side effect of Sheikah science mixing with Zelda's magic. Whatever the cause, the fact remains that Link's fellow champions are, miraculously, back!

Or, at any rate, three of them are back from the dead: Mipha, Urbosa, Daruk. It stands to reason that Revali too would have returned from the grave. But where is he?

(In completely unrelated news, the bard Kass has recently taken on an apprentice: another Rito who can't recall a thing about his past, not even his own name.)

“My name is Link. What’s your name?”

Her heart almost imploded when he uttered his name; it was so unique. It felt as if his name and hers were destined to be spoken simultaneously. She yearned to hear her name whispered on his lips.

She took a long, shaky breath. Her voice was as calm as she could muster. “Zelda.”

    ***

A modern Zelda lands mysteriously in Hyrule and meets the knight, Link. He is assigned to protect her while they are tasked to travel Hyrule to discover why, and how, she ended up there in the first place.

A reimagining of BOTW with OOT elements.

    Summary

To the King, the wielder of the Master Sword must be a Hylian, so when he met the wielder who was a young Sheikah, he took him and forced him into becoming a Hylian Knight. His excuse was that wielding such a sword meant that he was now property of the Kingdom. The king made the poor boy into a tool for the kingdom, a tool who possesses a broken soul.

However, the princess never got along with Link, with her hatred growing each day at him, perhaps it was the reason why she never awakened her powers when the Calamity came.

One by one they all died, including the princess who was taken to the Shrine of Resurrection. Link’s body was never found until a few years later by someone who was not from Hyrule.

(AKA this is the story where I get characters and creatures from different Zelda games -even though I have not played most of them- put them in this story and make it work. So don't be too surprise if you notice a familiar character or creatures that did not appear in botw)

    Summary

Nothing would ever make sense again.

One moment, Link's worries consist of giving Talo a training sword that he probably shouldn't have and retrieving Epona to get to the castle on time. The next, he is thrust into a body that is not his. Link's only saving grace is an imp who very much does NOT have his best interests in mind.

Little did he know how much Midna would mean to him.

The Mirror Shattering leaves Link restless. When he oversteps the limits of what a hero should do, the light spirits take matters into their own hands. Now, trapped as a wolf, he wanders a world where nothing lines up with the one that he knew. When the ground begins to shake and towers appear, he stumbles into someone that looks far too much like him. He's going to make the goddesses REGRET this.

(Twilight Princess portion of the story and Breath of the Wild portion run parallel. Clarification in beginning Author's Note)

    Summary

Throughout his entire journey, Link tried to ignore the Master Sword. If he could simply put off removing it from its pedestal, then he could delay his responsibilities to Hyrule. Unfortunately, Link could not stall forever. The Calamity grew stronger every day, and he had kept Zelda and the Champions waiting for far too long. However, with one final plea for help while pulling the Master Sword, Link awakens a spirit that has slept within the blade for eons.

In a turn of events, Link discovers that the Master Sword is just the beginning of something greater. Perhaps, with the spirit's guidance, he can discover more about the legends that came before him. Maybe, he can use this knowledge to change the legend he is supposed to be another nameless hero in. Even when he begins to remember new memories, Link only has one mission: He will not settle for a legend that requires the people he cares about to die, no matter the cost.

    Summary

Why do the Hero's Spirit endure as it does?
Who is Link, beneath his Hylian skin?

Not many can remember why the Yiga was excommunicated and exiled from all of Hyrule, including their own clan, the Sheikah. Rumor that goes around was that the Royal Family of Hyrule was paranoid and feared the deadly potential of the Sheikah technology and thus banned it all, creating the Yiga Clan in the process. No one said otherwise and so it became the only truth. But is it really? If so, why did the Hero failed appearing in their hour of greatest need? Hyrule sought out the missing Hero and the equally missing Master Sword only to come up with nothing. All hope now lies on the shoulder of the still powerless Princess Zelda...until the Sheikah discovered the Shrine of Resurrection.

Who sleeps within? Who was resurrected? Who comes out of the shrine? Is it really the Hero...or something worse than the Calamity?

“Master Link!” Impa called as he walked through the threshold of the house. “Where’s Princess Zelda?”

“A couple of her warriors have taken her to the Shine of Resurrection.” Link replied. Impa said nothing, instead she had a pensive look on her face. “I’ve failed.” Link suddenly muttered.

"You are the hero Zelda, and your knight needs to be saved."
    -
Instead of Link, Zelda is sent to the Shrine of Resurrection, while Link goes to Hyrule Castle alone to contain Ganon. 100 years later, Zelda stumbles out of the shrine, with no memories and the task to defeat and conceal Ganon.

    Summary

He was a knight, like his father was before him, and his father before him. He had been given a sword and shield to serve and protect his kingdom. He knew courage, charisma, and true companionship.

His destiny had been set for him, one that would be writ with blood and tears into the history of Hyrule. He was not aware of this fate. He would never have guessed that he would raise a Hero to wield the sword that sealed the darkness.

A chronicle of the son's life through the eyes of the father. Note: Despite being part of a series, this could probably stand alone.

"You know, you should stop by my place on Tuesday," Zelda comments in a tone so jarringly sweet he's reeled right back in.
He shakes his head, certain he's misheard her. "What? I-"
"Our cleaning lady comes by on Tuesdays," she smiles. "Maybe she can vacuum all those cobwebs out of your ears-since your head is so pathetically void of any intelligent thought."
Link slams the pencil down flat. "If you hate tutoring me so much, why don't you just quit already?"

It's Link most daunting adventure yet: High school! Having just moved to the big city, Link is struggling in more ways than one: Relentless bullying, no friends besides his sassy little sister, and to top it all off, he's failing! But when tutoring pits him against the most popular girl in school, he realizes he might not be the only one in need of rescuing.

    Summary

Royal Knight Link Hallowell, Champion of Hyrule, was the most curious of creatures. Since being assigned as Princess Zelda’s personal knight, Sir Link was never seen without the Master Sword, either strapped securely to his back, or firm in his grasp, blade out and ready.

It was unnerving how her rage against him due to her father’s orders dulled to indifference, to concern. Zelda could not name a time she had seen any emotion on her knight’s face. Not when he was reprimanded in front of his entire squadron (oh, how Zelda loathed her father), not when he won spar after spar against the other soldiers, not even when he was given a whole week off duty to visit his family. It was as if he was made of technology, created without emotion.

However, Zelda knew he couldn’t be robotic. Not when he bled for the kingdom to protect her. Logically, Zelda also knew that, had Sir Link been a robot programmed to protect her, he still wouldn’t have hesitated to jump in front of her, but she was certain that her knight was human, no matter how much he acted like he wasn’t.
