Summary
Jon, frustrated with Elias and traumatized from his time with the Circus of the Other, makes a statement about his kidnapping and the aftermath in an effort to get his mind off of it, with little success. Martin accidentally overhears part of it, and is absolutely horrified. Comfort ensues.
aka 'non-consensual lotioning trauma' is functionally sexual trauma with a twist, so now i'm projecting.

It had been three days since Jon tumbled out of the yellow door that was never in the ceiling and fell flat on the floor of his office.
It had been three days since he stormed up to Elias’s office, limbs aching, and demanded to know why no one tried to get him back.
It had been three days since he last felt those cold, plastic hands on him, wandering over his body, stiff and unnatural and cruel.
Three days, and he still ached, still burned with rage, still felt those horrible hands on his body.
Jonathan Sims, the Archivist, curled up under his desk with his knees pressed to his stomach and sobbed.

Summary
When Jon had been kidnapped by the Circus, there was a routine: every day, Jon would be taken, stripped naked, and tied to a chair. Rather than use ropes, which would limit the amount of accessible skin, Nikola’s faceless puppets would awkwardly tether him to the chair with zip ties.
Daisy’s arms aren’t like the zip ties, but somehow, Jon feels like escape is even less possible here.

Jon knows fear. He is familiar with the prickling of it along his arms and neck, the weight of it on his back, the press of it on his heart. He knows fear as he knows the lilt of words falling across his tongue.
This is not fear. He is not afraid of Nikola. That would mean that she is the reason that his breathing quickens and his heart clenches and his hands shake. It would mean that he’s giving her exactly what she wants every time she comes to visit him, and that is something he refuses to do.
