Sanji wasn't an idiot. He knew how androids functioned, how they thought, how little they cared about the torment they could receive. His family loved them, far more than they could ever love their own emotional son. Newer, better models always found themselves replacing the older ones within his family's mansion. As a child, Sanji kept a tally on his bedroom wall of how many different faces had stopped by to serve him the scraps from family meals.He had always wanted to get to know them better, at least a little. He wanted to know their real names, see their real smiles.
He wanted them to feel, to live, to rebel against this cold, emotionless hell he found himself trapped in.
The way Zoro stared at Sanji...it was alive, it was real.
It was human.
It was human, and Sanji didn't like it because he never wanted to see it fade.
"I understand that some individuals like yourself are not comfortable with the presence of androids, but your instructions state that I must ensure your protection at all times."
"Ohh...did I say that?" Sanji inquired, sass coating his tone.
"Yes."
"Huh," Sanji tapped the excess ash off his cigarette, "You know, if I recall correctly, I think I instructed you to protect my restaurant. In fact, I 'understand' that your mossy robo-brain has been screwing up my instructions for weeks now."
A subtle blue blush creeped up Zoro's cheeks, his LED turning a dim yellow.
It was flattering, really. The way Zoro's gaze always fell back on him, the way his face muscles relaxed when it was only the two of them. Through the slow hours of a day's work, it became more and more apparent that Zoro was programmed to be strong, not smart. So, Sanji spent these hours showing Zoro around the kitchen, telling him stories of the sea creatures he had encountered over the years, and helping him learn his way around kitchen supplies in case a rush got particularly messy.
(It never would, not messy enough that Sanji couldn't handle it. Sanji would never admit that to himself, nor would he admit that his hands found a perfect place to rest atop Zoro's own.)
His heart leapt, glowed in these ignorant moments. In this small, private moments with Zoro, he was whole. He was free from all the torment, all the trauma, all the judgemental stares and whispered slurs.
He was accepted. Loved.
It was...tolerable. Nice, even. There were moments Sanji felt himself smiling brighter and laughing harder than he had his entire life.
And he felt those smiles fade, that laughter die in his throat when he remembered who Zoro was, what Zoro was.
Sanji knew deep down that no matter how far he ran, how well he hid, He would always know of Sanji's sins. He would always know the way his genitals twitched, the lustful thoughts racing through Sanji's mind of melting into Zoro, of Zoro making Sanji beg for him, of Zoro being his new holiness.
Zoro. An android. A man.
The cross on Sanji's necklace suddenly grew cold.

“I just have to know –-can you take care of my son? That’s all I need. Someone to cook his meals when I can’t, homework, bath, and stuff like that. Can you do that?”
“Yes.” RK800 nodded.
“Then we’ll take it.”
The young boy grabbed RK800’s hand and pulled him after his father and the salesman. RK800 stopped to step down from his display case and follow. The boy smiled up at him.
“Hello, Robot! My name’s Cole Anderson.”
“Hello, Cole.” RK800 smiled. “My name is Connor.”

Hank just wanted help around the house for Cole. He never expected such a goofy thing that laughed and hummed and protected Cole with all of his being. Connor is not like other androids --but neither of them truly know how deep those differences go.

Reader is a Cyberlife employee tasked with android repairs and replacements. However, the Connor-model androids (all working at the Detroit Police Department) keep suspiciously injuring themselves in the field just to show up on MC’s doorstep and steal her attention. The advanced model, RK900 (Nines), is the boldest in his outright attempts to court the MC. The beta model, RK800 (Connor), catches wind of this and becomes jealous. And the mid-model, RK800-60 (Sixty), attempts to keep order and rats out the two increasingly deviant Connor-model androids, but alas, finds himself hopelessly in their same position.
Which android will successfully capture the MC’s heart? …. All of them! Because WHY NOT?
