Sometimes, Geralt wonders if the gods like toying with him. He just wanted to enjoy an easy day of shopping in Novigrad with his bard. But no, when is anything in his life ever easy?
Instead of an easy day of shopping, Geralt has to thwart an assassination attempt while keeping Jaskier out harms way.
Only... something about this "assassin" is off. If the two familiar swords strapped to his back didn't set Geralt off, the unmistakable shade of amber definitely did.
Was it all a misunderstanding, or was it destiny? That's something Geralt will have to figure out as a navigates through love, battle, life, and a volatile young Witcher.
