Summary
Girlfriend's, Rumi and Zoey, run a bar together. One day, a new face appears at the bar —a shy college student who becomes a regular and converses with Rumi at the bar counter, but she only orders water or a soda. But Rumi soon learns about the new girl's awful past and current situation. Rumi and Zoey are determined to help her in the best way they know how.
Rumi sees a girl with pink hair sitting at the bar, and she walks over. "What can I get for you?"
"Just a water, please," she said. Her voice was deeper than most girls, a bit monotone, but also a little gruff. It made Rumi feel something inside.
"Water, huh?" Rumi had a, but poured water for her anyway.
"I'm Mira btw, nice to meet you." She said with a smile.
"Rumi," Rumi replied not expecting the conversation.

The three month break had been something the trio desperately needed. That year’s Idol Awards had been a mess and the hunters were beyond tired by the end, so they were extremely grateful for the time off. Rumi more so than the other girls because it meant she had time to grow accustomed to the new instincts and urges that came with accepting her demon half. Unfortunately, all good things came to an end and the three had to return to the Idol Scene. At least they get to interact with fans again.

Zoey was nervous. She was sitting in the corner of her room, in her mother’s apartment in Korea. It was 3:25 AM. She wasn’t sleepy—her head was full of thoughts. She lifted her hands, placed them on her head, and took several deep breaths. On the screen was the email to send her demo and see if she could be selected. She let out a laugh—if she sent it, she had nothing to lose. If they didn’t call her, she’d just go on with her life and never have to mention it again. But… what if they *did* call her? She bit her lip. Even if they did, it didn’t mean anything, she thought. She would just have to show up in person before the one and only Celine from Sunlight Sisters and see if she was selected for the K-pop group she was forming.
“Screw it,” she said as she hit “send.” When the confirmation appeared, her lip finally split and she tasted blood.
