Summary
Tommy felt his stomach sink to the ground, his heart following suit. The Syndicate. Dream wanted him to spy on the Syndicate.
So, Dream actually wanted him dead. Well, he doubted it was personal. Dream wanted information, and chose some nobody trash kid to be the one to die for it. Or maybe someone, somewhere in the mob’s chain of command, actually thought that Tommy would be a good fit for the job. Raccoon hybrid, experience in sneaking around, he really was the man to do it.
That didn’t change the fact that he was going to die.

"Tubbo! Earth to Tubbo! Can't you see we're in danger!?"
Tommy shouts, but Tubbo just makes a noise of frustration as Tommy gets into his way, and pushes his way past Tommy, getting closer to that crystal that practically glows in the refection of the sun. Tommy's gut continues to scream at him to leave immediately, but... Tubbo just won't go, and he's getting closer to that retched thing. The closer Tubbo gets, the more Tommy's overwhelmed with the urge to run. He feels as if they're being watched.
Suddenly, Tubbo reaches out to grab the crystal. No. Tommy tries to stop him, lunging towards the shorter boy, but...
"Tubbo!"
Tommy cries out as he's suddenly thrown back by some sort of force, sending him falling hard on his back with a groaned whimper. He forced his eyes open to glance in front of him. Is Tubbo okay!? But, he looks just in time to see Tubbo be grabbed by a hand coming out of a sort of black, inky portal behind him. Tommy can hear Tubbo's scream as they make eye contact.
Or, Tommy and Tubbo are in the gaze of the gods, whom want them as their own. Will they manage to escape the clutches of these crazy gods, or will they remain trapped in their grasp?

Summary
Looking up at the man who dictated his every move, (his schedule, his diet, his clothes – it even feels like his thoughts, sometimes) Tommy had to concede that he didn’t hate him. He could never, considering all that Dream had done for him.
Now, what is he? Some loose cannon moments from explosion at all times? Something so volatile everyone stays away? He doesn’t necessarily have friends other than Dream, but Dream isn’t like one friend. He’s more… intense. Getting used to it had been tough but Tommy knew that, months in, he’d been moulded into a shape that could only fit Dream. Perfectly curated for the only man who still matters; the only man who’s still there.
It should have hurt that it was just Dream who still cared about him but, well, curled up beside Dream, the fireplace crackling out its last, Tommy had to concede that whether he liked it or not, this was right. Everything was as it should be.

It was made of golden metal, solid as a rock at the bottom before twisting into thick bars made to look like tree branches on the rounded sides. The bars met smoothly at the top, all of the fake branches intertwining together.
He couldn’t remember how long it had been since he’d seen real tree branches either.
His wings itched at even the mere thought of anything outside his cage. The trees, the clouds, the sky, all of it. They fluttered uselessly within their bindings, as if Tommy had any ability to fly away from his prison.
