    Midoriya Izuku wants to make the world a better place.

    He has always wanted to become a hero. Save a lot of people, giving hope to those that were hurt by the society, people like him, and hopefully this corrupted system would change.
    Everything was going great! He became the successor of All Might, his idol. He got into UA and is on his way to becoming the greatest hero in the history.

    Then it all comes crashing down.

    With All Might death, the collapse of society, HPSC blaming spree, and a few press conferences later, Midoriya Izuku realised that he was wrong.
    Reaching to an old phone he kept locked in the drawer, reaching to the alternative that he thought he had left behind.
    He genuinely wants to be a hero. Yet, he realises, he might need a different approach.
    This doesn't mean he is going around tearing the system down, it's already broken enough.

    Because as much as this world has hurt him, Midoriya Izuku wants to make the world a better place.

    “Good news- I can definitely see ghosts.” Izuku weakly explained. “Bad news- I might’ve underestimated how pissed off the ghost is.”

    “You don’t say?” Katsuki couldn’t see the ghost, but he could see Izuku staring at a fixed spot as well and how the peeling wall paper started shuddering as the heavy feeling grew. “You’re the one who researched- how the fuck do we fight it?”

    “I-”

    The door slammed open again, blasting the ghost woman toward them. Izuku grabbed Katsuki’s arm in a tight grip, partly to make sure he stayed inside the salt circle and partly to keep himself from reeling back outside the circle himself.

    Izuku hadn’t needed to know that her skin was more translucent than the bones he could see through it. Just as scary was the newest person to come to the party- a man in all black, whose equally dark hair whipped even more ferociously.

    Through the ghost, Izuku saw the man’s eyes burn an even brighter, angrier red. Then he lost track of the plot what the ghost shrieked with a level of vitriol that had him doubled over in pain. When he could look up again, the ghost woman was gone.

    The ghost man- now armed with a scythe- still remained.

    In simple terms, Izuku Midoriya has do under go a heist against U.A itself to stop the Commission from taking over their education. He gathers allies, and goes through detailed political movements to make sure that the Commission give him what he wants, and he loves his new friends with all of his heart. He just hopes that they realise they are his friends soon...

    Izuku gets turned into a cat by a villain. Not necessarily an awful thing, except nobody is recognising him and he's done with this already.

    Now that gentle fingers have disentangled his back legs, Izuku is able to leap forward with a fair bit more grace, landing on the coffee table right in front of the hero and spinning neatly around, plopping the paper down and setting a paw on top of it so that Aizawa-sensei won't try to take it back yet.

     

    'This,' he explains, tapping a paw just above his name and ignoring the bitemark adjacent to it,
    'Is me.'  He brings that same paw up to awkwardly pat his own chest with the side of it.  The hero is just staring at him, perfectly blank, uncomprehending, and Izuku rolls his eyes as best he can before repeating the movements and words.
