Summary
Tavlor has lightning in her blood—Astarion would know, he tasted it when he drank from her. The only problem is she can’t seem to control it, or even use it at all, unless her life is in mortal peril. While the others see her as a liability, Astarion sees an opportunity to secure protection, a steady food supply, and a chance to reclaim the power that was taken for him. But when his interference has deadly consequences, he learns that he isn’t the only one concealing dark secrets. With his freedom on the line, Astarion will do almost anything to keep Tavlor under his influence, except of course, fall in love with her for real.

Quile had just been so close to finding release by Astarion’s fingers abusing his prostate, but at the last moment, Astarion had pulled his hand away and tutted at the paladin beneath him.
“Please,” Quile whimpered, one of his teeth snagging on his bottom lip. He gets a chuckle in response, Astarion leaning down to whisper directly in his ear.
“Not yet, pup. I think you can still wait just a bit longer. You can be a good boy and not come until I tell you to, right, darling?”
