Summary
It had started as just pointless small talk, asking questions as though they were strangers and not his literal, actual parents, but that was fine. It had been a while since they caught up, and he couldn’t blame them for not knowing some things. They were very busy people, after all.
From there it was asking about his friends, the ones who he kept visiting and sometimes sleeping over at. He was too delighted by them taking an interest in his life to pay attention to the glances being passed.
Finally, the real topic came to light.
“Ranboo, dear. Your father and I have been talking and…” His mother paused, looking at her hands and biting her lip. “You’re a big boy now, you’re all grown up. You don’t need us anymore-“
Ranboo’s brow furrowed as he was quick to reassure. “No! That’s not true at all, you’re my parents! Of course I need you…”
“Ranboo we think you should move out.”

Wilbur, who is sitting directly across the table from the boy, echoes a hello, reaching one long, lanky arm across the table to ruffle the monochrome hair. Ranboo makes a face, pulling a teasing smirk from the brunette and a quiet snort from Techno.
“So what did you do today Ranboo?” Phil asks, turning to look at his grandson.
“I sawed big yewow flowers and Uncle Tommy tolded me they called… um… oh! Sunflowers! Isn’t that a cool name? They wook wike the sun too! And he tolded me that flowers mean things! But I don’t wemember what he said sunflowers meaned. He showed me wots of flowers. And then-”
Three loud, sharp knocks interrupt the child’s rant.OR Ranboo is Techno’s son, and Tommy, Wilbur, and Phil are all there too. The whole family is back together! (Plus a guest appearance that I totally didn’t plan on but I think turned out pretty good)

Now the two finally return to the capital of the Empire to prepare to fight a war with odds stacked against them.
Tubbo and Tommy escaped from Dream years ago and since then have been living as Emperor Philza’s two adopted younger sons. When word reaches the palace that Dream is declaring war on the Antarctic Empire, the brothers are more then ready to fight their former abuser.

Ranboo is your average 17-year-old. He goes to high school every week, hangs out with his friends on the weekends, y'know average teenager stuff. That was a lie. He doesn't go to class every day, and he doesn't even have anyone he could call a friend. You could also say he's not normal. Ranboo is the famous vigilante 'Void'! Well not quite famous yet but that's irrelevant. Ranboo doesn't really believe in heroes, but he can't help but look up to the Number 1 hero 'The Blade'.

Ranboo witnesses a gruesome murder one day on his way home but by the time the police arrive, his brain’s built walls around the memory. “Dissociative amnesia” as his new therapist calls it. With no memory of the murder, Ranboo isn’t much help to the police looking for the serial killer now with ten victims. Everything is fine (aside from Ranboo’s constant panic attacks and paranoia) until he gets a letter in the mail from the killer, proving he knows where he lives. The killer plays a game of psychological cat and mouse with Ranboo and the police have to speed up the process of finding him before Ranboo recovers the memories or the killer gets bored of the games.

They spare Ranboo’s life to psychologically torture him and are delighted to find out that Ranboo’s completely forgotten the entire murder, including their identities. “Eight”s relationship with Dream isn’t as innocent as it seems, and neither are Dream’s intentions. “Do you know what you’ve done?” Dream was nearly hissing at him, his hands that were gripping Techno’s shoulders shoving him further into the wall, and Techno really shouldn’t find it as attractive as he does.
“Uh…” Techno trails off, momentarily distracted by the striking emerald eyes boring into his own (maybe he should apologize for accidentally breaking the mercenary’s mask, but he doesn’t wanna). “I’ve done a lot in my life, you’re gonna have to be more specific.”
Dream bared his teeth at Techno, and the pinkette, for a lack of a better thing to do, simply smirked at the man. “You stole my child.” Dream’s voice was hot when he was angry, even though Techno’s never heard him when he isn’t angry, but still.
"That sounds like your own problem."
He really needs to stop antagonizing people that are threatening him.
