Except- Tommy feels weird, like he’s missing more than just the wings on his dream-self’s back. He kind of feels empty, lonely. Tommy’s never had a family, and he’s never felt particularly upset about that fact, except now, he kind of does. His skin prickles, and he feels like all he wants is a warm hug and a reassurance that he’s wanted, that he’s loved. He wants the familiarity he had in that dream, the ability to pad his way through familiar hallways towards a familiar voice, a familiar person, with their arms open wide, and their heart bursting with love and affection. Tommy doesn’t have that. He never has.

We all know YouTubers are great at Minecraft on a screen, but this is unlike anything they’ve ever experienced before.
This is essentially Dream, Georgenotfound and Sapnap (and a lot more of the Dream SMP later on inc. Tommy, Wilbur etc.) getting thrown into a real life version of Minecraft - (think Sword Art Online style?)
Everything is real, from the backbreaking work of gathering materials to the pain of getting shot with a skeleton arrow and the freezing temperatures in the tundra biome. The game doesn’t end until they complete Minecraft’s goal - only then can they finally leave.But the biggest catch?
There’s no respawn button.
