Summary
Twilight hums, walking around them to approach the Loftwing again. It coos in greeting, but does not attempt to smother Twilight like it did with Legend. Twilight frowns in confusion, looking at Sky and Legend, back to the Loftwing, and then at Sky and Legend again. Sky mumbles something under his breath, no doubt puzzling over the actions of his Loftwing. Twilight catches Legend’s eye, blinks, then smirks.
“That’s weird. We’ll probably never know,” Twilight says, not taking his eyes off of Legend.
That son of a fucking bitch…
“Well, we can’t just sit here on this island all day,” Legend states, glaring at Twilight. Don’t say a fucking word, wolf boy.
Sky, once again oblivious, turns to face everyone else. “I can fly to Skyloft and see about getting some help in bringing everyone over.”
“Maybe you should take Legend with you,” Time suggests from Legend’s side—wait when did he get there? “Get a head start?”

Time opened his eye to a world on fire. The bittersweet smell of smoke forced its way into his lungs, and he coughed. Above him, where the roof used to be, was the moon, just as terrible and big as it had been in Termina. It filled Time’s vision.
“Oh, thank Hylia you’re awake.”
Time reluctantly peeled his eye from the giant red one in the sky and looked at the person in front of him. Warriors. His blond hair swayed gently in the breeze. The plate armor reflected the red light. His blue scarf was slightly torn by the hem. In his hand was a sword, ready to defend them both if needed. Time thought Warriors looked more like the typical storybook hero than Time ever had.Ten different versions of how the Chain met. The first nine chapters will feature a story in which eight of the Links meet their last member. The last one will feature a story about how all of them meet at once. Title may be subject to change.

The budding freckles forming under his healing sunburn did not make his glare less menacing. “If someone got cursed, speak up now.”
“I don’t think this is a curse,” Four said, unenthusiastically rubbing at a charred spot on his leggings. “If it was, we’d be able to do something about it.”
“I don’t like this,” Hyrule said, as though coming to a realization. “I don’t like this? I don’t want to be in the desert any more. Can we leave?”
“Depends. Can you break curses?”
“Or, since it’s probably not a curse," Four said, “as these are portals leading to set locations, how’s your ability to teleport?”

When most of the Links changed worlds, they would experience an ache in the gums, ringing ears, general instability or perhaps a persistant headache.
Four, however, was affected far worse. He would start shaking, be unable to put pressure on certain limbs or feel from parts of his body, once or twice he even experienced mild deafness and moderate blindness (along with prolonged or heightened versions of the other’s symptoms). All of this, mind you, is if he didn’t just pass out.
The others had no clue why. They accommodated him as best as they could, carrying him when he couldn’t walk, and being patient when he couldn’t cooperate. For this, Four was extremely thankful, although he just wanted a break at this point.
