As Loki raised his eyes to appreciate the indescribable beauty of a sky generously painted with stars, Mobius gently tugged him to a halt, and he turned around, head inclined questioningly.
“I have a present for you, Loki,” Mobius told him in a low voice, the lack of preamble demonstrative of now barely concealed tension.
His face was so serious, so nervous, that Loki couldn’t help but smile, despite his own heart beating a little faster at the shift in demeanour.

“Then wàn shì rú yì, my dear.” (His pronunciation was a little off, but Tchang didn't mind in the slightest.)
