Summary
Mirabel’s father and uncle came into the kitchen, bringing the stranger with them.
Now that he wasn’t dirty and bloodied, Mirabel and the rest of the Madrigals were able to see what he looked like much better.[...]
He was pale, paler than Tía Pepa, the Madrigal with the fairest skin, and had dark circles under his eyes. He clearly wasn’t of the same ethnicity as them, but he had refined features, high cheekbones which gave him a haughty look and very particular grey eyes. If he wasn’t so sick-looking and obviously starved, Mirabel could see that he was a very handsome man, even more handsome than Mariano Guzman, Isabela’s almost fiancé and the town’s heartthrob.
His dishevelled appearance, though now mitigated by her father’s clothes and his combed hair, would have made him perfect for a villain in a story if he hadn’t such a curious glint in his haunted eyes and a kind smile as he waved at them in greeting.
“Here, Señor,” said Mirabel’s father Agustín, gesturing towards all of them, “This is our family. Everyone, this is Señor – er – I’m sorry, we haven’t even asked your name…”
“Oh, right,” the stranger said, “My name is Sirius Black.”Bookmarked by 100cuttlefish

Summary
Soft, meek, fussy, and scared of their own shadows—those were words that people often used to describe hobbits. Even after riddling with Smaug the Golden and saving the King Under the Mountain's life, dwarves, elves, and men alike still underestimate Bilbo Baggins' capabilities outside the kitchen or a negotiation hall. And Bilbo would agree to a certain extent; he doesn't like violence, not in the slightest.
However, if someone threatens his nephews in any way? Well, then he'll track the bastards down and destroy them.

Summary
The door to his cupboard opens, and his uncle flings Harry into it. His shoulder wrenches from the violence as Harry tumbles in.
The door slams shut behind him.
Harry stumbles across the small space towards the tiny mattress pad that makes up his bed, his injured arm curled against his chest. He inches forward, and forward, but the mattress pad is nowhere to be found, and—
His cupboard can’t be this big, surely? Where is the back wall?

Harry Potter spends years (and no time at all) in a land that should not exist. He finds family and light, and when he returns he is changed... and he brings that change with him.

After being gravely injured after his fight with Pariah Dark, Danny hangs up the proverbial cap and moves on with his life. Without being a ghost, space was now impossible due to his injury, so Danny puts to use the long hours he was forced to work in his parent's lab to use, gaining an internship at Wayne Industries. All he wants is to put his past behind him and move forward. But old traditions and new threats get in the way.
And another thing, why did his coworkers think he was about to be adopted? His parents weren't that bad, let alone the fact that he wasn't a minor anymore.

Summary
Spidey hadn’t made it to patrol since getting that text message. As much as Wade valued their time together, he could understand that sometimes, too much Deadpool left a really bad aftertaste in one’s mouth. It had been a perfectly reasonable assumption that the webslinger was doing his own thing on the opposite side of the city, and he’d come crawling back to Wade when he needed a good laugh or a midnight meal, or both.
Wade should have questioned that logic. Three days wasn’t a long time to take a break from someone like Deadpool, but it was a long time to be missing.
There was a small, folded-up square of paper alongside the costume. Wade felt like he was cracking open a fortune cookie, only instead of some vague shit that applied to everyone and no one at the same time, it was two words scribbled in thick sharpie.
‘FIND ME’.

Summary
Derek has a new neighbor who won't stop looking.
Excerpt:
“You’re blind,” Derek said flatly, the anger draining from him so suddenly he felt almost woozy. His vision cleared, his claws sliding back into blunt fingernails.
“Thanks for the memo, genius,” the kid said acidly. “I can still fucking defend myself, so don’t take another damn step.”
“Fuck, I...I’m sorry,” Derek stuttered.
“What?!” The kid’s brow crinkled. “I mean — what?! You’re fucking sorry!?” His lips thinned into a harsh line. “What, is this some kinda Hallmark movie where you’re discovering the error of your ways because you don’t want to rob a blind person?! That’s fucking condescending, man. I’ll have you know that —”
“Just, wait.” Derek interrupted what was apparently the start of a convincing argument as to why he should rob the kid after all, feeling his head start to spin. “This is — it’s a misunderstanding. I’m — I’m not robbing you. You’re — you’re safe, okay? I’m taking three steps back. Just — just let me explain.”
“Explain why you came busting into my apartment? Yeah, go right ahead, man, I can’t wait to hear this epic tale.”

**In this ABO verse, there are 6 genders. Alpha and Omega, male and female, make the minority (10%) of the world's population. Betas, male and female, make up the other 90% of the world. Alphas and Omegas tend to be superhuman. Omegas and alphas have heat periods. Alphas have a heat period 1 to 7 days every three months, while omegas have heats once a month from 3 to 7 days long. Omega males can get pregnant and alpha females can impregnate. Mated bonds occur when the alpha leaves his mark on the neck of his omega during their heat. So here we go!**

"We thank you for your hospitality." Akemi said on rote but her words just got her a laugh.
"This is a brothel, not a lord's banquet." Madame Kaji said. "I've seen more than a few men like him in places like that."

"No, I have seen more samurai than most battles have." The woman chided, pouring another cup with the precision of a practiced courtesan. "I mean men who need to be pushed down, reminded of their place."

Summary
Spider-Man is a relatively new, controversial vigilante, and Johnny has a crush the size of the Empire Building. The Four - operating under the assumption that Spidey is an adult - do not approve.
“I just happen to think Spider-Man's cool,” Johnny says, matter-of-factly. “A hero can think another hero is cool without making it weird. I admire his aloofness. And his badass-ness.”
“His aloofness,” Ben repeats, chuckling into his mug of beer. It’s roughly the size of Johnny’s head. “Yeah, sure, I bet that’s all your admire, right?”
