Summary
Spiritual Successor to "It Came From the Vents." Gordon Freeman has spent three years trying to stabilize the AIs he befriended after a disastrous end to a military project. He's stolen company property, ignored his family, and neglected himself in hopes of success. Now that he's made progress, it's becoming increasingly apparent that one of the AIs in question may not be a program at all. No one can say for certain what this revelation will lead to, but one thing's for sure: HR is going to have a field day with this one.

Summary
“Woah, woah,” Vox says. “Hold your horses. What—”
“This isn’t right.” The shadows around him swirl and turn darker and darker, sharpening into points. His eyes are shining red. “What did you do to me?”
“I didn’t do shit!” Vox sits up and crawls forward—Alastor presses himself back against the wall, ears flattened over his head. The hard turn from predator to scared-looking prey is making Vox’s head swim. “How is it my fault you’re rock hard?”
And he really is, Vox’s hindbrain notes. If anything, he seems to have gotten thicker—Vox can see the outline of him perfectly. Alastor curls in on himself when he notices Vox’s eyes.
“I don’t,” he starts, and then stops. That seems to be the end of the sentence.
“Well, you clearly are," Vox spits, frustrated. “I really don’t get the hassle here. I mean, we’ve been. Uh.” Together is a loaded word, but so is dating. Fraternizing? No, that sounds even more sordid. “Companionable. Right? This isn’t out of the, uh. Range of options.”

Summary
Humans are born with a soul mate; for as long as both souls are alive on Earth, they are bound together by a red thread. It forms when the second soul mate is born, and it turns black when the first soul mate dies. No one can see these threads but the people attached to them.
In Hell, a mark will form on the skin of both soul mates the moment the second soul falls. Sinners can use these marks to find each other, but they seldom do. Having a soul mate is a weakness few can tolerate.
Vox has been looking for his soul mate his entire existence; Alastor has spent just as long running from his.
All it takes is one touch.

Summary
Of all the demons who could have possibly inherited his contract. Why did it have to be Vox? The pompous, obnoxious, desperate television demon who had been oh so obsessed with him for ages. And Vox would never let him go. Not now that he had him. What he’d wanted for so long now, always just out of his reach. No, nothing could persuade him to give him up.
Vox gets ahold of Alastor's soul, and he intends to take full advantage of his new acquisition. Unfortunately, his feelings for the man make everything a bit more complicated. But Alastor might just come to realize that Vox owning his soul isn't actually the worst thing.
