Summary
It was just Dream and Sapnap when the apocalypse began, when the entire country flipped upside down and they were thrown into a life of killing and surviving. Dream would do anything for his best friend, his brother. He wasn't about to let some random, somewhat attractive guy on the brink of death risk their chances of survival. And he certainly wasn't going to befriend him.

Summary
George trails his gaze further until his eyes stop at a bluish lump some feet away from him on the shore. Squinting his eyes, George tries to make out what it is. Is that a-?
“Shit, shit, shit,” he mutters under his breath and perks up to stand on his wobbly feet.
He runs to the person lying on the soft sand face down. George kneels beside him, panic turning his every move sloppy and his heartbeat quicken to the point where he can feel his entire body pulsating at record speed. The only sound he hears is the thumping dum-dum-dum.
With the last ounces of strength he has, he flips the unconscious person around and is met with the familiar freckled face. He recognizes the dirty blond locks that are now drenched wet.

George’s plane crashes and he wakes up stranded on an island only to find a freckle-faced man with an attitude-problem.

"I don't want to end up hurting you!" George yelled out desperately. Clay fell silent then, his eyes becoming unreadable to George. A wry smile made itself present on his features as he shook his head in what appeared to be disappointment.
"You're hurting me right now," Clay replied softly, and George wasn't a stranger to the underlying hurt present in his voice. He felt the guilt eating away at him, making George turn away from that forlorn expression.
"Better now than six months in the future, don't you think?" George muttered lowly.
(In which George is an exchange student that will be living abroad for six months, Dream decides it would be funny to send the new British boy an obscure email on his first day of school, and neither prepare for the feelings that develop because of it.)

Dream slows to a stop, panting. He’s prepared to keep running, but thankful for the break.
Suddenly, a warm hand touches his shoulder and his body switches into defensive mode. He passes his axe into his left hand before reaching up with his right to grasp the arm. In one Swift motion, the unknown person is flung straight into a tree and lands with an axe at their throat.
“Wait!!” A familiar voice cries.
“George??” Dream gasps, lowering the axe. “What, what's going on?”
“You’re safe!” George struggles to speak through his spike of fear. “you're safe.”
