    (A self indulgent re-imagining of a highly visual show. No knowledge of RWBY is really required, but you should watch it anyways. It's good.)

    In the world of Remnant, monsters known as the creatures of Grimm flood the wilderness, intent on wiping out all of mankind. In response, the four kingdoms created specialized Huntsman academies to train the next generation in the ways of combat. While in training, students are put into groups of four and given titles made up from the first letter of each of their names. Some day they'll grow to become protectors of their respective nations, fighting for the good of the people and warding off injustice.

    In the present day, Ruby Rose, a young girl living in the kingdom of Vale, finds herself being unexpectedly accepted into one of these academies and given the position of leader in team RWBY (Ruby). The team threatens to split up almost as soon as it's formed, and Ruby is forced to push through her anxious tendencies in order to keep her new friends together. In the midst of their reconciliation, however, these Huntsmen in training will have to take on the role of protectors earlier than expected as they become tangled in a sinister plot by Vale's biggest crime boss.

    Tom was a soldier in the Order faction, tasked with doing exactly what was expected of him: keeping order, even if that meant he had to take a few lives in the process. He was born to this life, and it was the only thing he had ever known. Until he meets the charming rebel of a man who should be his enemy—emphasis on the should.

    It certainly doesn't help that Andrew seems to know more about Tom than the soldier knows about himself—and his role in this war.
