It didn’t bother him. It didn’t! No matter what Wings or Blitz tried to claim otherwise. The Autobots surely wouldn’t take out one of their own for something as silly as being a system, surely! That’d just be crazy! And Optimus wasn’t avoiding them. Surely.

It was obvious what Blitzwing wanted, even as he desperately tried to minimize his request into something more quick for Optimus. Just a short and quick round while they were still both mildly buzzed from oil. Optimus did not do things half-heartedly, however. If Blitzwing wanted her, wanted her to dominate and please him, then she would do so. It could even be considered a favor for an old friend.

In hindsight, Optimus should’ve realized something was up when his cooling fans suddenly started turning on every so often, when his charge was more excessive than usual for seemingly no reason, and when he started getting the inexplicable urge to either hide away in a hole or look for the most eligible mech and drag them back to base.
He could get through this by himself, without having to make any humiliating requests of his crew. Not only would he rather die a slow death than ask for something so personal, but the last thing Optimus wanted was to pressure them into feeling like they had to. He may be just an academy washout, but he was still their superior. It was his job to be responsible about these things.

Optimus doesn’t know what’s wrong with him. Has his processor suffered a helm injury as of late? Maybe when Optimus fought Megatron a fusion cannon actually hit and he just forgot. He can’t really recall much of that battle anyway. Then again he’s had trouble recalling much of anything lately! More often his emotions are far less streamlined and simple than they used to be— too often it feels like someone else is shoving their feelings into his servos to deal with, tangling themselves up into his wiring.
It happened far too often whenever he fought Blitzwing, and now it’s happening again in cyberspace. Is this some strange sort of tactic by them?

A little while after the peace treaty between Autobots and Decepticons is signed, Optimus takes the chance to spar with some of his old enemies in the safety of cyberspace. Namely Blitzwing.
Cue system realization.

It’s not fair, it’s not fair that he can fuck them like it’s nothing, leave them a panting and shaking wreck while he’s the picture of serenity, moving and grinding his hips up and down the girth of their spike. They’d feel like just a toy if it wasn’t for how much Optimus is touching them: Dragging his servos across the glass of their cockpit, kissing wherever he could on their faceplate, holding their midsection while he fragged himself on their spike after Blitzwing lost the stamina to do it properly.

Apparently, when one has a nine out of ten of stamina on their official records, you can do quite a lot so long as you have enough rest and sustenance to keep yourself going.
This is something Optimus has not had for a while.

Who knew all it took to get Optimus’ attention was a little boldness. Just a little invasion of his space. They should’ve done this ages ago, instead of Blitz’s idea of showing their interest through combat prowess.
“Optimus,” They coo, enunciating each syllable with purpose. Optimus’ flush deepens, which makes Zing giggle. “You’re very cute.”
