  1. Summary

DC has a lot of young heroes and legacy characters and most of them don't actually get to do too much. Or consistently exist. Or complete characters arcs.

Sounds like free real estate to me. Plus, a few new ones couldn't hurt right?

    Summary

Does the phoenix fear the fire?

Everyone knows it is necessary. The phoenix has to die in a burst of flame so that it can be reborn from the ashes.

But would that make it any easier to stand the sight of feathers turning to ash, of flesh withering, the scent of cooked meat in the air?

Talia al Ghul understands the phoenix. And she understands it would not.

After all, in order to be reborn, first you have to die.

A what if situation - what if Talia got to / had to experience Lazarus Pit rage when she got dunked in the pit in Batman 335

    Summary

How odd, Damian thinks to himself, that this feels familiar. Hands pressed to his chest, and his moniker, his name, called like a summoning. Bone suddenly shifts in his ribcage and he jerks upward with a wheezing breath, almost hitting the boy hunched above him. “What-” he tries, words coming short as he adjusts to the surge of pain in his lung. “What did you do?"

"It was only reasonable,” the boy says mulishly, but his breaths are shallow now too. It's hard to tell the difference between a broken rib and a cracked one, but Damian knows he should be more injured; he squints suspiciously, and the boy scowls back at him. “If we are both on the precipice, then neither of us will fall,” the boy mumbles. “Not alone."

    OR:

When Damian Wayne finds a boy in the sewers, he doesn't expect magic and demons to tie them together - and he certainly doesn't expect the boy, Suren, to claim that they know each other and Damian's memory has been erased.

What's an ex-assassin to do, when a stranger claims to be his friend and magically handcuffs them together?

Well, hopefully not wind up dead...or believing in false claims of friendship.

    Summary

"However, the ones that really made money were the train robbers, and of those in these parts, the Myrmidons were the swiftest and most dangerous. It surprised everyone then, when their smug leader- a handsome, fine-haired man with sharp green eyes and a glittering horse, looking more like he belonged in a wealthy brownstone out east than out in the sun and dirt- struck a strange peace with the townspeople...

So if any of the townspeople were willing to pay closer attention, they’d notice that out of all the shiny shops in town that the gang could go to, they always start with a small, dusty store right at the edge of the town limits. It’s a two-floor structure, wood bleached white by years of heavy sun, kept nicely swept with clean enough windows and organized stock.

Most important to Achilles is the handsome man that lives inside it."

After sacrificing himself for the universe during the events of the Flashpoint Paradox, Bart resumes his existence in the afterlife. Everything’s boring, nothing’s real, and there’s a shadow blob thing who won’t leave him alone. Oh, and Conner Kent is as beautiful as the day Bart first talked to him, and Bart’s got to reconcile these repressed feelings with the fact that he’s dead – again.
