"Perhaps," Timur admitted, "But you'll forgive me if I can't believe my ears. Who, exactly, are you, stranger-that-looks-just-like-my-friend-Felwinter?" He teased.

"I'm just surprised, is all! I think you must have turned down my offers dozens of times, previously... What's changed your mind?"When Felwinter realizes Osiris is going to need more out of their relationship than he is currently equipped to provide, he does the logical thing and seeks to better inform himself.
And who better and more eager a teacher than Timur, who is all too ready to show his lover the ah... ropes.

"You never noticed it?" Felwinter rumbled, his voice low and velvety in a way that told Timur he was taking particular pleasure with his role in his little game with Osiris tonight. "You know how he is."
"Nobody ever looks up," Osiris gasped.
"Silence," Felwinter countered, sharp. Osiris flashed the quickest, dazzling smile, then bit his lip and obeyed the command.

The Light that sustained him, made him, felt like it hadn't quite assembled him correctly. Every synthetic breath, every blink, every shift of leather on synthskin and plating felt just a little wrong. Felt like seeing Andal's ghost phase into rock on accident and jolt, remembering he needed to appear solid if he wanted to keep up the illusion that everything was alright, that everything was normal for them. That wasn't exactly the kind of question he was expecting. Kabru studied Laios' expression. Curious, nervous, but not really concerned. As if he was asking about something embarrassing. “a couple of times,” Kabru admitted, “I considered it.” He was careless enough to mention it out loud. He couldn't deny it now. “I never actually wanted to do it, though,” he added quickly. Sometimes he still felt the temptation, but it was just a momentary weakness, not something he would ever actually consider. But he knew Laios didn't mean those flickers of fancy. He meant the time back in the dungeon, where the temptation to kill Laios was quite a bit stronger.
