So when Tim inevitably heads out and Jon’s still there, he’ll give him a peck on the forehead, Jon usually too immersed in his work to offer much more than a distracted goodbye. Today’s no different, but as soon as he scoots his chair back, he notices Jon lift his chin minutely, eyes never leaving his laptop screen as he presents his forehead for kissing.

Iruka wants to gesture for Kakashi to get on with it and stop being so dramatic about information Iruka already knows, but is aware that will only extend this further.
“The Council has determined that Naruto is unfit to take on the office of Hokage,” Kakashi says.
