So when Emperor Phil arrives at her doorstep with three boys in tow seeking asylum, and a demon named Bad comes seeking help for his own stolen son, she thinks maybe she can find a friend who understands.
Wilbur feels overburdened. He has the future of two kingdoms over his head, one brother who is too drowned in guilt to help and another too young to understand. He feels like the weight is crushing him. But even with his broken wings pressed into the dirt, there's no relief.
Ranboo and Tubbo are stuck between two worlds. It feels like every step forward pushes them more towards a cliff. They stare at open air, and wonder if there's any place below that they can call home.
Sapnap is tired. George is angry. Dream is missing. And everyday it feels like they lose more of themselves.

Two of the city's superheroes fight villians and protect the city whilst keeping their true identities a secret. They cannot even know the names of each other, their faces disguised by their magical jewels.
Dream is a flirty, cocky and impulsive hero with a sword and a smirk, never failing to cast witty and flirty remarks at his partner. GNotFound is clever and calculated, and can’t stand being near the flirty masked hero.
Exams, friend groups, crushes, fights and prom should be their main stressors. But George and Clay barely have time to sleep, let alone focus on anything else.
None of that stops George from crushing hard on his classmate, but Clay’s heart seems to be somewhere else. Perhaps with a certain masked hero he secretly spends nearly every day with.
Neither can escape the responsibilities on their shoulders, and they can’t tell anyone their problems. The only person that could possibly understand what they are going through, is each other.
But they don’t even know who that is.

or; Dream's mental health is getting bad again and because of a very stupid and spontaneous idea, he is suddenly living with two childhood friends he hasn't seen in over five years. It makes everything so much more complicated than it has to be but Dream isn't sure if he actually regrets it.

Out of all the things he expected, being in the prison he helped design was the last thing he could have thought of.
At first, when Sam led him to the prison, the shock hadn't set in yet, his brain registered the cheers from Tommy and Tubbo and he thought that this, really, was no big deal. It's when Ranboo stared back at him that he started to feel his blood run cold.
(Or I choose to ignore a bit of lore. Tommy never died in the cell by the hands of Dream and Quackity tortures him for the revive book because Dream told everyone about it before being imprisoned)
