yes they are both hybrids, esther bound both their werewolf sides and mikael hates them both the same (klaus a little more maybe)
after 1000 years of her and her brother trying to break their curse (and their siblings getting annoyed at them constantly) elena finally breaks and decides she wants a break from klaus.........(tatia still exists and elena is a doppleganger, there was some sort of glitch in the doppleganger magic)
(Elena is quite ooc since she has lived as a mikaelson for 1000 years)
