“Itadori…” He glanced over to find Okkotsu watching him, a curious look on his face. “Would it help to talk about them, or do you want to be distracted from them?” Yuuji thought about it for a second, staring at the ceiling. Talking about the nightmares didn’t seem to be helping very much. But it was also probably close to 2 in the morning so their options were pretty limited as far as distractions went.

“Distracted.” He answered finally, missing the look his senpei shared. Inumaki froze, no longer drawing random designs on the back of his hand. He turned to look at Inumaki and sucked in a breath at how close the other boy was. Had he been that close this whole time? He watched his senpei glance down at his lips, licking his own subconsciously before looking back up to meet his eyes with a silent question. Yuuji knew that Inumaki was huge on consent, having to be so very careful of his every word in order to avoid hurting or coercing people around him. So he knew the boy wasn't going to ask for anything verbally.
"Toge wants you to kiss him, Itadori. But he won't ask. He already feels guilty for using his cursed speech on you earlier when you were panicking."

However, once he, Kazuichi, and Sonia get there, they discover exactly how much it's changed since the Tragedy.
(Took minor liberties with canon, so sorry about that. Some flashbacks to the Tragedy have a UDG vibe because your boy just finished watching a playthrough of that game and absolutely digs it)
