Summary
"What's got you so happy?" Husk gruffly asked, going back to wiping down a glass as Alastor took a seat.
Alastor pretended to check his nails, the music on the radio growing louder in his excitement. "I was just relieved of a burden a bit ago." He cryptically replied, grinning. "A liquor, if you don't mind."
A sentence like that was typically a pretty good indicator that Husk did not want to know what had happened. He dragged his hand down his face and simply got to work.
He really did not want to know.

“I am always together,” Alastor says, and takes another sip of coffee.
“You summoned me into your home at eleven at night,” Husk says, gesturing vaguely to a clock. “And you’ve been staring at the wall for the last six hours.”

The closest Alastor's ever gotten to romance comes in the form of—in order of increasing hilariousness—a couple of botched youthful attempts at kissing, cheap mass-produced smut comics, and the wildly entertaining tales of other people's sordid affairs.
He's never wanted sex. He's never wanted love. He's never seen a problem with this.
It's taken about a century, but he's pleasantly surprised to discover that the rest of the world is finally starting to catch up with his perspective.
More than anything else, he’s pleased that these new modern attitudes have given him extra opportunities for bad puns.

Aziraphale surely hadn’t (and neither had Crowley, apparently, else he would have dumped the drink into the nearest empty crypt instead of necking it like a shot and smashing the glass like a git) but, nevertheless, here they were, dealing with the effects of a rather egregious combination of alcohol and opium.

Crowley's eyes are more similar to a snake's than a human's, which presents a unique set of challenges when tasked with living a human life. He tends to just avoid the issue, but sometimes that's a bit harder than it would seem. Aziraphale tries to account for his needs wherever possible, but it's hard to when he doesn't even know what they are.
Also known as: I did way too much research on snake eyes and Crowley has light sensitivity, red/green color blindness, blurry vision, and a hard time focusing on details.

Zuko had kept every single one on his ship, reading over every single one and committing their names to his memory. He couldn’t stop them from dying, but they were what motivated him to keep moving, to get back his honor so that he could help prevent deaths like theirs.
