Simon Tam is seventeen-years-old, which is fine, so is Kaylee. Except the only person on Serenity that knew was River. Until, that is, their warrants are updated and the crew finally pays attention to Simon's DOB. Mal takes his duties seriously, taking Simon and River as his wards, just like Kaylee. Simon isn't so sure this is a good idea. He's not a kid, after all, he doesn't need a keeper.
Except, maybe, he might want someone who cares about him. About River. A parent that actually cares.

Summary
Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano are captured by the Mandalorian Empire on a mission to protect Padme Amidala. The good news is: they all succesfully hide their identities so they easily escape the Integration centre, they get forced into, which was not adapted to keep Jedi trapped. The bad news: none of them are very good at keeping a low profile. At all.
“Barriss Offee is one of Ahsoka’s new classmates.”
“Is she…?”
“...integrated?” Ahsoka finished his question. “Yes but she still promised she wouldn’t tell on us being here.”
“Could she be lying?”
“Sure, but what could we do about it?”
“I got promoted,” Anakin tried to hide his enthusiasm. “I am now allowed to repair beskar'gam for the palace guard.”
Padme rubbed her eyes. “Well talking about promotions… I guess I am now the president of the parent teacher association of Ahsoka's school.”
Obi-Wan sighed. “How did every single one of us managed to make our situation even worse than it already was?”
Anakin looked at him with narrowed eyes. “Every single one of us?”
Obi-Wan closed his eyes, took a deep breath and answered. “I slept with the Mand’alor’s son.”

The butterfly effect at its finest with a certain level of chaos that is impressive even by Skywalker-Kenobi standards. Time Travel/Clone Wars.
This is a REBOOT: I am trying this idea again only more fleshed out with a smaller plot. Significant Brain Damage will continue. Two of my favourite tropes; amnesia and time travel ;D This is sort of a fix-it by the way that it isn’t a massive story and it has a happy ending, but everything else in between… Buckle up, Princess.

Obi-Wan shifted uneasily, suddenly aware of the attention he was drawing from the patrons around him. “It’s not for me,” he replied quickly, his voice steady despite the tremor in his fingers. “I’m just fetching it for my Master.”
Master is a bit of a loaded word in the wider galaxy.

If only his subordinates could see him now. They have not liked him since his transfer to the guard's command staff. It has been months since he had been taken before the chancellor and given the posting.
It's horrible and lonely but it is the least he can do to keep his brothers safe.
