Summary
Martyn had to briefly stop at some point to catch his breath, but just seconds after he did so, a bolt of lightning tore through the sky that made him let out a short scream.
Who just died?
Martyn checked the notification center for deaths on his communicator.
< SolidarityGaming was obliterated by a sonically charged shriek >
It was Jimmy.
“No… NO, JIMMY’S GONE! ……Oh my- oh my void he’s dead. Why did he decide to chase that thing?! He’s such an idiot! I knew I should've gone back for- AAAHH!” Another bolt of lightning shot down and caught Martyn off guard. He looked at the death notifications again and nearly dropped his communicator at the sight.

"MUMBO!" Martyn was the only red name left.

Summary
Nobody saved them. The moon slammed into the planet, crushing it, obliterating it. In what felt like hours but was probably just minutes, all that remained floating debris. The fires had been put out as the atmosphere was shattered, oxygen escaping into the vacuum of space. His entire world had been reduced to floating chunks of matter within just a few moments.
