Keigo, whose head moves back and forth between the two strangers fighting in front of the KFC, shrugs. “I have absolutely no idea.”
The dark haired man turns to the white haired man – Satoru, apparently. His hands are shoved into the pockets of his loose pants, his chin tilted up. “Are you the strongest because you’re Gojō Satoru? Or does being the strongest make you Gojō Satoru?”
“Holy shit.” Touya lets out a quiet snort, and Keigo almost wants to cover his mouth to avoid them being discovered. “Are those guys LARPing?”

It hasn’t been them for a long time, for every lonely toothbrush, for every empty chair, for every cup of coffee Satoru made himself because nobody else was there to do it. “Nothing about this is simple.”
“So you’re just giving up?” He shouts, disbelief cracking through his tone.
“Yes! I’m giving up. Look around Suguru, look at how many times I haven’t given up!” The volume bleeds, it slices razor incisions up his trachea. “I can’t anymore.”
Or Satoru curses himself at death, tailoring his own hell to save the first person he let down.
It’s a difficult endeavour for someone selfish and unwilling with a faulty moral compass.
This has become my Magnum Opus

Summary
Suguru and Satoru have been living together since they started at uni, and they've been best friends for way longer than that. With Satoru still in uni, and Suguru working odd jobs, they've found something that's not quite stable, but it's good enough. Eventually, Satoru will leave him behind, but for now, it's easier for Suguru to just stick with him and enjoy the ride.
It's not stable, but it's metastable. It's a little wobbly, but it works. That is, until Suguru discovers something that shatters their shaky equilibrium completely.
